Lorenzo T. Vitale, 76, of Edwardsville, Ill., born Saturday, Aug. 6, 1938, in DuQuoin, Ill., passed away at 8:45 p.m. Monday, Feb. 23, 2015, at his residence.

Mr. Vitale retired after 43 years as a welder from Alvey Inc., in St. Louis, Mo. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and belonged to various Bass Clubs.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Delores, nee Kramm, Vitale, whom he married on June 7, 1965; and his parents, Lorenzo T. and Regina, nee Radake, Vitale.

Surviving are his son, Larry M. (Stephanie) Vitale of Edwardsville, Ill.; four grandchildren, David, Joshua, Samuel and Jessica; two great-grandchildren, Allyssa and David; and two sisters, Regina and Anna.
