Loretta M. Parsley, nee Richards, 73, of Collinsville, Ill., born March 18, 1940, in Petosi, Mo., died Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at her residence.

Loretta was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Alberta, nee Henson, Richards; a grandson, Jessey Lynn Parsley; and a sister, Sandra Richards.

Surviving are her sons, Chris (Pixie) Parsley of Caseyville, Ill., Brent Parsley of Palm Dessert, Calif., Jeff (Melody) Parsley of Collinsville, Ill., and Cameron Parsley of Collinsville, Ill.; four grandchildren, Lily Parsley, Karie Schuck, Kendra Wiedwilt and Chelsea Parsley; four great-grandchildren; and sisters and brothers, Allene Rhodes of Imperial, Mo., Janet Riddle of Potosi, Mo., Patricia Meyer of Bonne Terre, Mo., Sonny Richards of DeSoto, Mo., Roger Richards of DeSoto, Mo., and Kathy Sexton of Old Mines, Mo. She enjoyed and will be sadly missed by her pet cat, Leo.
