Lori Jean Biesemeyer was blessed to be born into this world on April 2, 1963 in Denver, Colorado, and ascended to Heaven on Saturday, March 18, 2023 in St. Louis, Missouri, at the age of 59. She graduated from North County Technical High School in 1982, and received an Associates Degree in Applied Science with a focus on Early Education from Florissant Valley Community College in 1986.

Lori was a kind soul with a beautiful, bright smile. She was the family photographer and never missed an opportunity to get together for fellowship. She loved to show off her creative side and created murals at church and scrapbooks for her nieces and nephews. A highlight of her life was traveling to the Holy Land as her Christian faith was very important.

Lori loved children, and served as a preschool teacher and nanny for many years. She had fond memories of touring Missouri each summer, teaching a traveling Bible School. In later years, she worked at Kinko's and loved being part of the retail security team at Walmart.

She is survived by her parents, R. Allen and Constance (Davies) Biesemeyer of Edwardsville; her sister, Julie, and brother-in-law, Dr. Brett Ziegler of Caseyville; her beloved nieces and nephews, Katarina and Mitchell Palmer of Belleville, Aloysha Ziegler and Lainey Ziegler of Caseyville; and her special friend, Tony Musgrove of Belleville.

A visitation will be held on Monday, March 27, 2023, from 5pm to 8pm at the Sunset Hill Funeral Home, 50 Fountain Drive in Glen Carbon. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at 10am at St. John's United Methodist Church, 7372 Marine Road in Edwardsville.
