Louise Marie Eckert, nee Camplain, 67, of Maryville, Ill., born on Sept. 14, 1946, in Chana, Ill., died on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.
Mrs. Eckert was an avid quilter and enjoyed needlepoint and cross stitch. She also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. She cooked the carmel for Bobby's Frozen Custard in Maryville, Ill. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Collinsville, Ill.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Willis and Margaret, nee Black, Camplain; and a brother, Norman Camplain.
Surviving are her husband, Everett Eckert of Maryville, Ill., whom she married on July 20, 1968; children, Jennifer Eckert of St. Jacob, Ill., Nicholas Eckert of Maryville, Ill., and Samantha Eckert of Maryville, Ill.; brothers and sisters, Roger (Thelma) Camplain of Oregon, Ill., Robert Camplain of Mount Morris, Ill., John (Judy) Camplain of Prairietown, Ill., William (Donna) Camplain of Jacksonville, Ark., Rebecca Braden of Shabbana, Ill., Phyllis (Jack) Roe of Holmes Beach, Fla., Joyce Smith of Oregon, Ill., and Deborah (Duane) Zobrist of St. Jacob, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Collinsville, Ill., with the Rev. Fred Kraemer officiating. Interment in Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery, Collinsville, Ill.
