L. Delores "Dee" Bancroft, nee McMahon, 82, of Collinsville, Ill., born Tuesday, April 26, 1932, in DeSoto, Mo., passed away Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015, at St. Louis University Medical Center in St. Louis, Mo.

Delores was a member of the former Collinsville Park Board. She attended St. John United Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy S. Bancroft, whom she married on May 12, 1951; her father, John McMahon; and her mother, Fannie Mae, nee Politte, Bergmann.

Surviving are two sons, Jon Kevin (Elizabeth) Bancroft of Collinsville, Ill., and Richard Keith (Tina) Bancroft of Fenton, Mo.; a granddaughter, Jessica Bancroft of Florida; and a grandson, Jordan Bancroft of Collinsville and his family, Alicia and a son, Leonard Bancroft.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2015, at the funeral home with Pastor Katie Jo Bielke officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Memorial Estates, Glen Carbon, Ill.
