Lucille Nettie King, nee Clark, 90, of Caseyville, Ill., born Nov. 17, 1921, in Rombauer, Mo., died at 1:58 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Ill.



Lucille was a former clerk at the Super-Value grocery store in Collinsville. She was a member of the retail clerks and Fairview Heights Garden Club. She was an avid quilter and gardener.



She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther F. King whom she married on July 20, 1940; her parents, Theo and Dora, nee Casper, Clark; daughter, Barbara Dodson; daughter-in-law, Rosemary King; grandson, Myles Mitchell; brothers, Orville "Bud" Clark, James Clark and Jack Clark; and sisters, Alice Clark and Ann Baughn.



Surviving are her children, Karen (Charles) Seib of Caseyville, Ill., Larry King of Caseyville, Ill., Danny (Kathy) King of Collinsville, Ill., and Linda (Rick) Zoll of Collinsville, Ill.; brothers, Ivan "Woody" (Peggy) Clark of Cahokia, Ill., and Charles (Beulah) Clark of Collinsville, Ill.; eight grandchildren, Kathy (Harlan) Slone, Steven (Denise) Dodson, Larry (Madonna) King, Julie Walker, Erin (Thomas) Demick, Joshua (Renee) Zoll, Adam King and Tonya Gibson; nine great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 2, 2012, at the funeral home with Rev. Roger Wright officiating. Burial will be at St. John Cemetery, Collinsville, Ill.
