Obituary

Lucille Genevieve Scholebo, age 91, of White Hall, died Sunday, February 7, 2016, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Scholebo was born August 13, 1924, in St. Genevieve, Missouri, a daughter of the late John Louis and Linda LaRose Roth.

She was reared and received her early education in St. Genevieve, where she attended the St. Genevieve schools. Mrs. Scholebo moved to Pine Bluff from Granite City, Illinois, in 1982.

Mrs. Scholebo was preceded in death in 1983, by her husband, Mr. Otis Scholebo; a son, Harry Smith; daughter, Shirley Smith; great-grandson, Daniel Gee and a brother, Wilbert Roth; sisters, Mary Mable Gegg and Bernetta Haug.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, John William Smith and wife, Frances, of Pine Bluff and Otis Charles Scholebo, Jr. and wife, Lydia "Trini", of White Hall; two daughters and sons-in-law, Virginia M. Myers and husband, Richard, of Fordyce and Betty Horton and husband, Andre, of White Hall; eleven grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, twenty six great-grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 10, 2016, at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors with Reverend Chris Drye officiating. The family will receive friends at Robinson''s Tuesday from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

The body will then be taken to Sunset Hill Funeral Home, 50 Fountain Drive at Route 157, Glen Carbon, Illinois, Friday, February 12, 2016, visitation from noon until time of service at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
