Lucy Lorein Moore, nee Norris, 78, of Collinsville, Ill., born Nov. 8, 1937, in Mitchell, Ill., passed away Saturday, May 7, 2016.
Lucy was very active in her life. She was a member of Bluffview Baptist Church. For 40 years she played piano and organ at the Mitchell Presbyterian Church, was a member of the Sweet Adelines, loved to play golf with her daughter and husband and also played on the Ladies League. She walked three miles a day with the morning walkers at St John UCC in Collinsville. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed making home cooked meals. Through her life she and her husband and children made many road trips and especially liked the longer ones.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Nita, nee Page, Norris and a brother, David Norris.
Surviving are her husband, Gary E. Moore, whom she married on Sept. 16, 1955; her son, Roger Paul Moore and her daughter, Nancy L. (Brent DeBrobander) Toon, both of Collinsville, Ill.; a brother, John Charles Norris of Pontoon Beach, Ill.; grandchildren, Michael and Vincent Toon; and a step-grandchild, Richard DeBrobander.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2016, at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at the funeral home with Dr. Lloyd Shaw and Rev. Roger Wright officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Glen Carbon, Ill.
