Luis Gonzalez Magallon, 60, passed away at his home in East St. Louis, IL, on Monday, October 26, 2020.

He was preceded in death by his father, Carlos Gonzalez.

Luis is survived by his mother, Graciela Magallon, his wife, Silvia Gonzalez, his brothers, Jesus (Lisa) Gonzalez, Juan Ramon Gonzalez, and Gerardo (Sam) Gonzalez, his sisters, Carmela (Aurelio) Rodriguez, Socorro (Eliseo) Gonzalez, Trinidad (Verna) Garcia, Lourdes (Alejandro) Salomon, Guadalupe (Refugio) Ayala, and Graciela (Juan Carlos) Gonzalez, his daughters, Silvia (Carlos) Belmontes, Graciela (Antonio Oseguera) Gonzalez, and Sonia Gonzalez, his grandchildren, Antonio Oseguera, Ramon Oseguera, Jazlyn Belmontes, Natalei Belmontes, and Carlos Belmontes, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made out to the Gonzalez Family at 3231 Canteen St., East St. Louis, IL 62201.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2020, from 4 pm to 8 pm, at Herr Funeral Home, located at 501 W. Main St., Collinsville, IL 62234. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 6, 2020, at 11 am, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, located at 110 N Buchanan St., Edwardsville, IL 62025.

COVID-19 Restrictions at St. Boniface Catholic Church are as follows: Everyone must wear a mask, you may take the mask off to pray, there can be no singing aloud, and you must wear your mask for communion.
