Lura Delberta Wall, 94, of Collinsville, Illinois, passed away on February 22, 2022, at Eden Village, Glen Carbon, Illinois.

Lura was born June 1, 1927, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Delbert and Gracia (Lowery) Lowry.  She married Charles Wall on June 7, 1947.

She retired after 23 years of employment with Southern Illinois University in property control.  Lura was a member of St. John UCC in Collinsville, Illinois, where she was a member of the Evening Circle and the Weaving Group.  She previously was very active with PTA, and being a Girl Scout and Cub Scout leader.  Lura was an avid reader, and enjoyed crocheting and embroidery.

Lura was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Wall; brother, Robert Lowry; and sister, Patsy Thomas.

Survivors include her son, Keith Wall and wife Melody of Belleville, Illinois; daughters:  Ginger Arth and husband Allen of Danville, Kentucky, and Cindy Ward and husband Don of Collinsville, Illinois;  grandchildren: Christopher (Kay) Arth, Dane (April) Arth, Loren (Jessica) Arth, Kelly (Brad Murphy) Ward, Todd (Emiko) Ward, Erin (Alan) Wittlich, and Morgan (Jeremy) Daenzer;  great-grandchildren: Xander Arth, Jonas Wittlich, Eugene Wittlich, Guy Daenzer, Dagny Daenzer, Leon Ward, and Hugo Ward.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, Illinois. Funeral service will take place at 12:00 p.m. with Reverend Jennifer Glover officiating.  Burial will follow at Lake View Memorial Garden, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
