Major Reynolds, age 56, of Collinsville, Illinois, entered his eternal rest on Sunday, October 2, 2022. Hewas born January 11, 1966, in Belleville, Illinois. Major was one of seven children born to Willie (Woody)Reynolds and Billie Reynolds (nee Lloyd). He was predeceased by his father, Willie Reynolds.
Major leaves to cherish his memory, mother Billie Reynolds, wife Kimberly Reynolds, two beautiful daughters, Katherine and Kayla Reynolds, a beloved granddaughter, Juliana – Joi Harding, sisters, Sheree (Gregory) Mitchell, Rolanda (Avery) Duff, Jackie Baxton, brothers, Royce Reynolds, Willie Reynolds, and
Renard Reynolds. Also mourning his loss is mother-in-law, Annette Russell, sister-in-law, Trudy Scroggins, aunts, uncles, cousins, an abundance of nieces, nephews, great, and great-great nieces, nephews, and friends.
Major graduated from Collinsville High School in 1994 and joined the U.S. Army in October 1994. He retired in 2005 after 20 years of service.
Major never met a stranger. His magnetic charm and fun-loving free spirit were loved by everyone he met. He was a natural born handyman and was always willing to help Major loved Florida State Football, running, biking, hiking, fishing, traveling, and spending time with family.
Major will be always loved, never forgotten, forever missed!
