Margaret Brandt, 95, formerly of Collinsville, Ill., born Saturday, May 14, 1921, in Collinsville, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2016 in Maryville, Ill.

Margaret worked at the Collinsville State Bank for 20 years, was a member of the First Baptist Church in Collinsville, where she was an active member of the choir and also taught Sunday school. Margaret founded and volunteered for Meals on Wheels in Collinsville and Mission Circle at First Baptist Church and she was a life member of Anderson Hospital Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stan; her parents, Amos and Stella, nee McClain, Cunningham; brothers, William, Levi, Otho and Herbert Cunningham; and sisters, Mary Ruth Bitzer and Nell Metzger.

Surviving are her son, Harry C. (Debra) Brandt of Collinsville, Ill.; grandchildren, Craig (Megan) Brandt of Maryville, Ill., and Bethany (Jason) Call of Collinsville, Ill.; and four great-grandchildren, Amelia and Ava Brandt and Keaton and Karley Call.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Missions or Meals on Wheels in Collinsville, Ill.

Visitation: Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2016 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery in Collinsville, Ill.
