Margaret A. Dowler

Margaret A. Dowler nee Ponzetti, 86, formerly of Collinsville, Ill., born on May 22, 1930, in Collinsville, Ill., passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2017, in St Louis, Mo.

Margaret retired from Famous-Barr as a Sales manager and later worked at Schnucks Grocery where she assisted in preparing the salad bar.

She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Amelia, nee Colombara, Ponzetti

She is survived by daughters, Deborah Bagy of St Louis, Mo and Sue (Jack) Hanley of Seal Beach. Ca.; grandchildren, Rick Bagy, Andrew Bagy and Adam Bagy & Brandon Ashby, Nick Ashby and Charlie Ashby; brother, Dominic Ponzetti of Collinsville, Ill.; sister, Theresa Bauerle, of Fairfield, Ca. and 7 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Bilhartz Animal Rescue and can be received at the funeral home. Condolences can be expressed to the family through this online guest book

Visitation: Friends may visit with the family 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 pm. Friday, February 3, 2017, at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, Ill.

Services: Funeral services will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 4, 2017, at Herr Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Glenwood Cemetery in Collinsville, Ill.
