Marian I. Faith, nee Dowdy, 83, of Glen Carbon, Ill., formerly of Collinsville, Ill., born Aug. 20, 1930, in Bernie, Mo., died at 9:25 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013, at her residence.

Mrs. Faith was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, AMI and AARP and was faithful to the area humane societies.

Marian was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Faith, whom she married on Oct. 17, 1946; daughter, Rachel Faith; and parents, Melvin and Rachel, nee Tuttle, Dowdy.

Surviving are her children, Lorrie (Andrea Crawford) Faith of Collinsville, Ill., Clyde "Drew" Faith Jr., of Belleville, Ill., Sandra (Ray) Monike of Collinsville, Ill., Katherine (John) Hubbard of Caseyville, Ill., and Martha (Tim) Cuff of Maryville, Ill.; 12 grandchildren; 24 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral: Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013, at the funeral home with the Rev. Sherman Smith officiating. Interment in Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon, Ill.
