Marianne Margaret Gobble (Dobbins), 87, of Caseyville, Illinois, passed away on November 18, 2023. She was born on February 6, 1936, in Mitchell, Illinois, to the late Mary and Robert Dobbins.

Marianne was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, survived by her daughter Kathleen Mayberry, sons James (Deanna) Gobble and Robert (Mary) Gobble, as well as grandchildren Daniel Gobble, Bryan (Jessica) Hawley, Breanne Mayberry, Brooke (Aaron) Mayberry-Langley, Robert Gobble Jr., and Amelia Gobble. She also leaves behind great-grandchildren Nicholas Hawley, Erin Hawley, Kylie Hawley, and Noah Mayberry-Langley.

Marianne graduated from Granite City High School and later pursued her interest in nursing and graduated from the F.W. Olin Vocational School of Practical Nursing in 1982. Marianne was a dedicated nurse who cared deeply for her patients.

In her free time, Marianne enjoyed coloring, solving puzzles, and spending quality time with her family. These hobbies brought her joy and allowed her to express her creativity.

A memorial service to celebrate Marianne's life will be held on December 4, 2023, from 4pm to 7pm at Herr Funeral Home, located at 501 W Main St, Collinsville, IL 62234. The funeral home will be assisting with all the necessary arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Marianne's honor to the World Wildlife Foundation (worldwildlife.org). Contributions to this organization will help support Marianne's passion for protecting wildlife and preserving our natural world.
