CASEYVILLE- Marie L. Haas, 90, of Caseyville, IL, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2019, at Eden Village Care Center in Glen Carbon, IL.

Marie was born August 11, 1928, in DeQuoin, IL to Harry and Kathryn (Mendenhall) Flauaus. She married William L. Haas in DeQuoin, IL; he preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by her sister, Josephine (husband, Robert) Wagoner.

Marie is survived by her daughters, Helen (Charles) Castiglia of Delray Beach, Florida and Mary Vinson of Red Lodge, MT; grandchildren, Pam, Michael and Tracy, and four great-grandchildren, Adam, Lucas, Marissa, and Maya.

Marie worked as a medical assistant for Dr. Alves and Dr. Rose before her retirement. She was a member of St. Ann's Church and Women's Sodality at St. Stephens Church.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 27th, 2019 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Sunset Hill Funeral Home, Glen Carbon, Illinois, with the funeral starting at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Sunset Hill Memorial Estates, Glen Carbon, Illinois.
