Marietta May Reid, nee Bittles, 79, of Collinsville, Ill., born May 24, 1932, in O'Fallon, Ill., passed away at 2:39 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2011, at her residence.



Mrs. Reid was a member of Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church.



She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie D. Reid whom she married on April 20, 1957; her son, Eric Reid; her parents, Leslie and Clara, nee Voegeli, Bittles; and her brother, Robert "Bob" Bittles.



Surviving are her daughter, Renee (Kipley) Klein of Collinsville, Ill.; and two grandsons, Cameron (Amy) Reid of Maryville, Ill., and Keenan Klein of Collinsville, Ill.
