Marilyn Marie Tettaton, nee Bragg, 80, of Caseyville, Ill., born Sept. 27, 1935, in Kennett, Mo., passed away Friday, June 10, 2016 in Belleville, Ill.

Marilyn was a dedicated home maker; she also worked in retail services for over twenty five years. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Collinsville, Ill.

"Grand Ma" as she was affectionately known by many, was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially camping and fishing with her children and grandchildren at Treasure Lake in Missouri. She was a woman of many talents and will be remembered for the quilts she made for her family and the wedding cakes many had the privilege to have.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louie E Tettaton, whom she married Aug. 21, 1954 and passed away Feb. 4, 2015; parents, Hallie and Mattlean, nee Harrell, Bragg; son, Louie D. Tettaton; and sister, Katherine Glenk.

Surviving are her children; Richaleana (Chuck) Cohn of Caseyville, Ill., Brenda (John) Schaeffer of Collinsville, Ill., David (Marquita) Tettaton of Collinsville, Ill., Matt (Julie) Tettaton of Caseyville, Ill. and "son" Greg McCall of Maryville, Ill.; two brothers, Dale Harrell and David Harrell both of St. Louis, Mo.; her twelve grandchildren and twenty three great-grandchildren; she was a great Aunt Marilyn to many surviving nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 13, 2016, at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, Ill., and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Collinsville, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Collinsville, Ill., with Rev. Kyle Wright officiating. Burial will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo.
