Marilyn Yvonne Welle, 89, of Collinsville, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, November 6th, 2018. She was born December 12th, 1928 in Pontiac, Illinois to Leo and Irene (Swager) Finnell.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Peter Welle and Michael Welle, two brothers John "Jack" Finnell, Rev. Eugene "Gene" Finnell, and one sister, Carol Fender.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Richard Welle, children; Teri (Henry) Hellrung of Alton, IL, Dr. Patrick (Mary)Welle of Fargo,ND, Tom (Tammy) Welle of Caseyville, IL, Julie (Marty) Mestemacher of Maryville, IL, Peggy Heise of Maryville, IL, Maria (Bob) Matthews of Maryville, IL, Jane Welle of Benld, IL, Kathi (Jeff) Miller, University City, MO, Dave (Jen) Welle of Oregon, IL, 30 beloved grandchildren and 32 precious great grandchildren.

She is further survived by a sister; Gayle "Punkie" (Bob) Juarez of Livermore, CA, and three brothers; Dr. Charles "Chuck" (Jo) Finnell of Tulsa, OK, Dale (Mary) Finnell of East Peoria, IL, and Allan "Toby" (Skip) Finnell of Chenoa, IL.

Marilyn was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Collinsville where she was a PSR catechist for many years. She was also a member of the Altar Society, the Legion of Mary, a volunteer for ABL Pregnancy Center, and a Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church Eucharistic Minister to the Home Bound.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 10th, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Collinsville.

Funeral will be Saturday, November 10th, 2018 at 12:00 a.p. at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Collinsville.

Interment will follow in Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Collinsville.
