Mark P. Dieckmann, 57, of Collinsville, Ill., born February 2, 1956, in Chicago, Ill., died Sunday, February 3, 2013, at St. Louis University Medical Center, St. Louis, Mo.

Mr. Dieckmann was employed at the downtown St. Louis Post Office for over 25 years. He was an avid motorcycle and car enthusiast and a dedicated government employee.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Orvin E. and Isabel, nee Reimers, Dieckmann.

Surviving are his wife, Kim Dieckmann of Collinsville, Ill.; a step-son, Timothy G. Taylor II of St. Louis, Mo.; a brother, Donald Dieckmann of Alton, Ill.; two nieces, Kelly (Rob) Gow and Kim Bordeaux; and many loving cousins.
