Mark Mizulski, 59, of Collinsville, Illinois passed away at his home on Wednesday, April 26, 2023.  Mark was born on June 26, 1963 in Decatur, Illinois.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Beverly and Walter "Boots" Mizulski; and his brother, Paul "Marty" Mizulski.

Mark is survived by his wife, Martha Mizulski; sons, Jacob (Jennifer) Mizulski and Lucas (Christa) Mizulski; grandchildren, Guinevere, Maverick, Caden, and Liam; and sister, Michelle Mizulski.

Mark attended local schools, and loved his town of Collinsville.  After several jobs, he landed at BOEING as a SMAR employee, retiring after 30 years.

Mark cherished his family and loved spending time with them.  He enjoyed playing basketball and tennis with his sons, and going boating, tubing, and camping with family and friends. Float trips and  ATV riding at the Huzzah River give many great memories.

Mark had a passion for mechanics and was known as "Mr. Fix-it".  He loved challenges with engines, projects, etc, and would volunteer his time to help others fix things.  Mark was also an avid hunter, and loved live music, tornado chasing, and playing guitar and horse shoes with his family.  He was a fun loving and outgoing person who always made people around him laugh.  Mark loved spending time with his kids, and was also known as a father figure to many of their neighborhood friends.

A special note from Martha:  Mark, God certainly put us together, and such a faithful, loving, and fun 39 years it was…  Though they were hard these last few years, praise God you are free at last.

Mark's family will receive guests for visitation at Herr Funeral Home, 501 W. Main Street in Collinsville, Illinois on Thursday, May 18, 2023 from 5:00pm - 8:00pm.  Mark's funeral service will be held at Meadow Heights Baptist Church, 1498 Vandalia Street in Collinsville, Illinois on Friday, May 19, 2023.  There will be a visitation at the church from 10:00am - 11:00am, and the funeral will follow at 11:00am, with interment in St. Adalbert Cemetery, 9625 Old Lincoln Trail in Fairview Heights, Illinois immediately following the service.
