Marsha Markle, 67, of Collinsville, Illinois, passed away on November 9, 2021, at Collinsville Rehab.

She was born December 22, 1953, in East St. Louis, Illinois, to George and Ruby Lucille (Saul) Riley.  She and Brian Markle were married on June 18, 1982.

Marsha loved to watch television and spend time with her grandkids.  She enjoyed seeing them every chance she got and especially loved being with her entire family during the holidays.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Johnnie Roy Qualls.

Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Brian Markle of Collinsville, Illinois; son, Joseph (Lora) Walsh Sr. of Collinsville, Illinois; sisters:  Georgia (Charles) Hume of Centralia, Illinois, and Betty (John) Skidmore of Edwardsville, Illinois; grandchildren:  Katie (Tim) Brimer, Vincent (Lauren) Walsh, Kerston (Cameron Corvallis) Walsh, Joseph Walsh Jr., and Robert Raymond Riley; great-grandchildren:  Timothy Brimer Jr., Avery Brimer,  Brody Walsh, Lainne Walsh, Kinze Walsh, Marley Walsh, Maddi Walsh, Hannah Chambliss, Leah Chambliss, Kyla Chambliss, and Raylynn Walsh; sister-in-law, Sheila (Dennis) Ford of Collinsville, Illinois; nephew, Christopher Blue; and niece, Paula Renee Blue.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 18, 2021, from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Herr Funeral Home, 501 W. Main Street, Collinsville, Illinois. Burial will immediately follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.
