Martha Belle Bandy

Martha Bandy, 88, of Edwardsville, Ill., born March 8, 1928, in Manila, Ark., passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2017, in Maryville, Ill.

Martha has been working for the Lord for over 50 years. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, enjoyed camping, painting and sewing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Mary, nee Morris, East; son, Carl Bandy; her three sisters and four brothers.

She is survived by her loving husband Claude Bandy of Edwardsville, Ill., whom she married July 1, 1973;
Children, Barbara and Jim Wright of Edwardsville, Ill., Jim Doty and Sherri of Granite City, Ill. and Tammy and Greg Richards of East Alton, Ill.; ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Gateway Family Church, Glen Carbon, Ill., and can be received at the funeral home. Condolences can be expressed to the family through this online guestbook.
