It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Martha Parker, who left this world on December 5, 2025, at the age of 84.

She was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. She poured her heart into her family and home, creating a place of warmth and love. Her creative spirit was reflected in her passions for oil painting, gardening, and home decorating.

If asked what her greatest accomplishments were, she would have answered without hesitation: being married nearly 60 years to her best friend, John Parker, and watching their three children grow, thrive, and raise families of their own.

She adored her sweet dog, Maggie, and treasured the connections to her family and friends. Whether the daily phone calls from her eldest son, Jeff, spirited games of Farkle with her son and grandson, Brian and Trevor, or enjoying time spent with her daughter, Helen, over a meal at their favorite restaurant before a competitive game of 500 Rummy. Being with family always brought her true joy.

Martha is preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Parker, sister Marjorie (Ralph) England, sister Margaret (Bill) Laws

She is survived by her children Jeffrey (Julie) Parker of Collinsville, IL, Brian Parker of Troy, IL, and Helen Parker of Collinsville,  IL; grandchildren Joshua (Jana) Parker of Grantfork, IL, Jesse Parker of Belleville,  IL, Thomas (Carrie) Mueller of Okawville,  IL, and Trevor Parker of Carlyle,  IL; and great-grandchildren Caiden, Colten, and Camden Parker.

Her legacy of love will live on through all who were blessed to know her. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to BJC Hospice.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 7:00pm, Monday, December 15, 2025 at Herr Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held 7:00pm, Monday, December 15, 2025 at Herr Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held 10:00am, Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
