Mary Ellen Bunk, 87, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away on October 15, 2023. She was born to William and Jnettie (Rhoton) Williams on March 1, 1936 in Toledo, Illinois.

She married Hank Bunk on October 17, 1961 in Charleston, Illinois. They enjoyed many happy years together before Hank's passing in 2009. Mary was an avid gardener, she loved dogs and was a lifelong church member at Gospel Tabernacle.

Those left to cherish Mary's memory are her loving children Larry (Jane) Bunk, Tricia Bunk, and David Bunk, grandchildren Holly and Jacob Bunk along with other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband. Mary will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Services will be held at Gospel Tabernacle, 2715 St Ambrose Dr, Godfrey, IL 62035 with visitation on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 9:00 AM and the funeral service at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates, 50 Fountain Dr Glen Carbon, IL 62034.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Mary's name to the Gospel Tabernacle of Godfrey.
