Mary Laverne Crites (nee Sandlin), 96 years old, was born on January 8, 1925, in Cape Girardeau, MO, and passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021, in St. Louis, MO.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milford F. Crites, her parents, Ernest and Edna Sandlin, and her son, Gary Wayne Crites.

Mary is survived by her son, Troy (Georgia) Crites, of Fenton, MO, her grandchildren, Michelle (Jason) Jensen, of Collinsville, IL, Nicol (Christian) Crites, of Woodland Hills, CA, and Troy (Laurel) Crites, of Kirkwood, MO, her great-grandchildren, Austin Sprague, of Springfield, MO, and Makenna Jensen, of Collinsville, IL, Coleton Rice, of Woodland Hills, CA, Vivian Crites, of Kirkwood, MO, and Jonah Crites, of Kirkwood, MO.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial donations be made in honor of Mary to Pathways Hospice and Palliative Care, 14805 N Outer 40 Rd. #160, Chesterfield, MO, 63017

Visitation will be held at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Collinsville, IL, on Tuesday, February 2, 2021, from 9:30 am to 11 am, with a Mass starting at 11 am, and then burial immediately following at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery, in Collinsville, IL.
