Mary Elizabeth (Edwards) Sturm, 71, died at 11:53 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at Alton Memorial Hospital.
She was born on Sept. 22, 1941, in Venice, Ill.
She is survived by her husband, Herbert Sturm of Godfrey; a daughter, Myra Carley of Creve Coeur, Mo.; and two sons, David (Elizabeth Dwyer) Sturm of Godfrey, and Donald Sturm of Collinsville.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Ed Edwards and Dorothy Edwards; and a brother, John Edwards.
At the request of the family, cremation will be held and there will be no services.
