Mary Magdalene Docter, nee Jaworowski, 93, of Collinsville, Ill., born on Sept. 26, 1919, in Madison, Ill., died at 3:10 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Ill.
Mrs. Docter had worked at the family business, Superior Products in South Roxana, Ill., since it was started in 1994. She was a member of PRCUA, and St. Stanislaus Lodge 1004, and had worked at the Polish Hall in Madison, Ill., for many years. She was a member of Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Maryville, Ill.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Docter, whom she married on Sept. 25, 1948; parents, Frank Jaworowski and Kathryn, nee Turski, Jaworowski Dyjeski; step father, Frank Dyjeski; sisters, Genevieve Dyjeski, Eva Majkut and three in infancy; and brothers, Leonard Dyjeski, and Joseph Jaworowski.
Surviving are her son, Glenn (Donna) Docter of Edwardsville, Ill.; granddaughter, Jillene (Richard) Gedmin; brothers, Stanley (Helen) Dyjeski of Troy, Ill., and Frankie Dyjeski of St. Louis, Mo.; nieces and nephews, Connie (Jerry) Grupas, Stanley Dyjeski, Eugene Dyjeski and Angela (Marc) Grupas; and brother-in-law, Rudy Majkut of Madison, Ill.

Visitation: A celebration of life will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 30, 2013, at Sunset Hill Funeral Home in Glen Carbon, Ill.
Funeral: Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 31, 2013, at Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Maryville, Ill., with Father Paul Kala officiating. Cremation was requested and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Edwardsville, Ill.
