Mary Lou Randant, age 86, of Collinsville, IL, passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at Anderson Hospital.

She was born in St. Louis, MO, on June 17, 1938, to Joseph and Agnes Boedeker. She married Leonard Randant on May 24, 1958.

Mary was an avid sports fan; she especially loved rooting for the St. Louis Cardinals. She enjoyed attending her grandchildren's sporting events, as well as assisting at all the events held at the Collinsville High School Sports Center. Bingo was another hobby that brought her joy.

She worked at Collinsville High School in the cafeteria department, from which she retired after 31 years of service. Mary was an active member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, as well as a "Pink Lady" at Anderson Hospital. Her generosity held no bounds.

Mary is survived by her children, Patty (Kevin) Gasawski of Belleville, IL, Dave (Susan Meyer) Randant of Collinsville, IL, Dan (Tami Hudson) Randant of Collinsville, IL, Julie Mink of Edwardsville, IL, and Steve (Laura) Randant of Collinsville, IL; grandchildren Daisy (David) Eichen, Elaine (Donny) Fowler, Dennis Randant (Monica Phelps), Robert (Jen) Randant, Jacqueline (Ross) Kivett, Jennifer Mink, Nathan Randant, Eric Gasawski, and Lisa Gasawski; seven great-grandchildren; siblings Paul (Barb) Boedeker, Bill Boedeker, Ginny (Rog) Lange, Judy Bateman, and Rita Watterson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Agnes Boedeker, stepmother, Pearl Boedeker, spouse, Leonard Randant, siblings Charlie Thompson and his wife, Marcella, Richard Thompson, Shirley Boedeker, Al Bateman, and Bob Watterson.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic School .

Funeral Mass will be held 12:00pm, Friday, May 23, 2025 at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 207 Vandalia St., Collinsville, Illinois  62234.

Family will receive friends from 10:00am until the hour of service at the church, Friday, May 23, 2025.

Interment will follow at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in Collinsville, Illinois.
