Mary Jane (Vallina) Slesinski, 85, of Caseyville, Illinois passed away peacefully on April 9, 2024.  Mary Jane (Janie) was born on November 1, 1938.

Janie was preceded in death by her husband, William (Bill) Slesinski; mother, Ella Mae (Quillman) Seib; and father, Sam Vallina.

Janie is survived by her sister, Jackie (Vallina) Vollman and brother-in-law, Chuck Vollman; son, Brian Slesinski, Sr. and daughter-in-law, Chris (Albright) Slesinski; daughter, Vicki (Slesinski) Wiley and son-in-law, Steve Wiley. She was also blessed with 3 grandchildren, Brian Slesinski, Jr. and Tiffany (Kilzer) Slesinski; Dana (Slesinski) Callahan and Lawrence Callahan; and Miranda Wiley; as well as 4 great-grandchildren, Brian Slesinski, III, Lawrence Callahan, Jr., Brandon Callahan, and Sophia Slesinski.

Janie retired after many years in sales at Sav-Mart Liquor and Burlington Coat Factory.  She enjoyed being surrounded by family and close friends.

Services will be held in Janie's honor on Tuesday, April 16th. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 p.m. at Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville, IL.
