LEBANON- Mary L. Tempia, 88, of Lebanon, IL, passed away on Friday, February 15, 2019 at Gateway Regional Medical Center of Granite City, IL.

Mary was born June 11, 1930 in Temple, OK to Gordon Beecher and Ruby May (Pack) Langford. She married Frank L. Tempia; he survives and resides in Lebanon, IL.

Also surviving are her daughters, Paulette (Bill) Reese and Mary Kathryn Bludnick, both of Evansville, IL; grandchildren, Olivia Bixby of Evansville, IN, Martie Matz of Wichita Falls, TX, Charlie Campbell of Holliday, TX; great-grandchildren, Nathan Deputy, Hunter Moers and Jules Bixby, Dalton Matz and Hunter Matz; siblings, Delores (James) Vestal of Iowa Park, TX, Olivia Jeanette Millard of Granite City, IL, Linda Langford of Walters, OK and half siblings, Patricia Ray and Gordon Wayne Langford, both of  Walters, OK.

Mary was preceded in deat h by her daughter, Brenda Bludnick and brother-in-law, Opal Millard.

Mary worked as a librarian for 23 years in Iowa Park, Texas. She enjoyed reading and traveling. She loved visiting Branson, MO and listening to many country music shows. Above all else, she cherished her family and beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and love her.

VISITATION: A visitation for Mary will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 from 12:00 P.M.- 1:00 P.M. at Sunset Hill Funeral Home in Glen Carbon, IL.

SERVICE: A graveside service will be held immediately following the visitation, at 1:00 P.M. at Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens.
