Mary Anna Fischer, nee Vesci, 89, of Collinsville, born Wednesday, August 19, 1925, in Granite City, Ill., died Sunday, August 2, 2015, at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, Ill.
Mary was a cafeteria supervisor with the Unit 10 school district. She was a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Collinsville, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Milan E. Fischer, whom she married October 21, 1944; and her parents, James and Maria, nee Panunzio, Vesci.
Surviving are her sons, Milan J. (Carol) Fischer of Marietta, Ga., and Gary (Rhonda) Fischer of Collinsville, Ill.; a brother, Ralph Vesci of Troy, Ill.; a sister, Rose Parker of Raleigh, N.C.; four grandsons, Michael E. Fischer of Marietta, Ga., Matthew J. Fischer of Pottsdam, Germany, Garrett M. (Amanda) Fischer of O'Fallon, Ill., and Grant M. Fischer of Houston, Texas; and a sister-in-law, Joyce (Rich) Skelton of Collinsville, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 6, 2015, at the church, with Father John Beveridge officiating. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Collinsville, Ill.
