Mary Carleeta Walden, 84, of Edwardsville, Illinois, passed away Sunday, December 23 ^rd , 2018. She was born August 18 ^th , 1934 in Hannibal, Missouri to Walter C. and Thelma (Cooley) Winegar.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents and granddaughters, Alyssa Pistorius and Ashley Walker.

She is survived by husband, Kenneth Walden, whom she married November 12 ^th , 1954 in Hannibal, Missouri. Mary is further survived by daughters, Sherry (James) Bohn of Glen Carbon, Illinois, Eve (Kurt) Pistorius of Centennial, Colorado, and grandchildren, Amanda Pistorius, Nicole Bohn, and Jason Walker and sisters, Nancy Heimer of Hannibal, Missouri, Patsy Huff of St. Louis, Missouri and Janet Horn of Monroe City, Missouri.

Mary attended Hannibal High School, graduating in 1953. She later worked at Levering Hospital in Hannibal, MO. She attended South Side Baptist Church, Hannibal, MO.

Memorial Gathering will be from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, Saturday, December 29 ^th , 2018 at Sunset Hill Funeral Home, Glen Carbon, Illinois.

Memorial Service will start at 1:00 pm at Sunset Hill Funeral Home, Glen Carbon, Illinois.

Interment will be private at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates, Glen Carbon, Illinois.

Memorials may be made in Mary's name to the American Heart Association.
