Mary C. nee Watson Molitor, an Angel of Mercy, went peacefully to her Eternal Life with Her Savior surrounded by her family on January 21, 2013. She was born August 3, 1925 in San Benito, Texas, the seventh of eight children of Ethel and Doc Watson. She and Elmer F. Molitor married on November 25, 1943, at St. Helen's Catholic Church in Rio Hondo, Texas.
She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years; her
seven children Jane Franckowiak (Craig), Bill (Kathleen), Susan Fitzgerald, Kathy Steipp (Rick), Steven (Susan), Dan, Vicki O'Harra (David); twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Also surviviing her are two sisters Mildred Watson Coates and Allene Watson Hopwood; a brother-in-law Alfred Molitor; two sisters-in-law Chris Molitor Walsh and Dolly Molitor Lampe, many nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends.
Mary has been an active member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Collinsville for 63 years. Her prayer ministry and work at the King's House and in various communities throughout the area touched many lives.
She is the author of Modern Day Psalms For God's People and the lyricist of the song "Love of the Father" with Christian musician, Karl Zimmerman.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to SS. Peter & Paul Catholic School or Church.
Visitation: Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon on Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Collinsville, Ill.
Funeral: There will be a Memorial Mass in Celebration of Mary's life immediately following at the Church.
