Marlys J. Swartz

Marlys J. Swartz, 89, of Caseyville, Ill., born January 12, 1928, in Fargo ND., passed away Thursday, August 03, 2017, in Belleville, Ill.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Marlys was dedicated to being a homemaker and taking care of her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Ike" Swartz; parents, George and Agnes, nee Jenson, Saunderson; son in law, Earl Holmes; sister, Delores Rosstead.

Surviving are her sons, George (Georgia) Swartz of St. Amant, La., Charles (Yvonne) Swartz of Mauston, Wi., Richard (Debra) Swartz of Fairview Heights, Ill., Paul (Paulette) Swartz of Lyndon Station, Wi.; her daughter, Toni Holmes of Spiro, Ok.; her 22 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and a dear friend Marcia Buff of Fairview Heights, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral Services will be 12:00 p.m. Monday, August 7, 2017, at Sunset Hill Funeral Home, Glen Carbon, Ill., with burial services to follow at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates.
