Maxine A. Bridges, nee Keller, 81, of Collinsville, Ill., born Feb. 7, 1930, in Collinsville, Ill., passed away at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16, 2011, at Collinsville Rehab & Health Care Center, Collinsville, Ill.



Mrs. Bridges was a member of St. John United Church of Christ.



She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Bridges, whom she married on Nov. 22, 1935; her parents, Max and Anna, nee Roedger, Keller; three brothers, Lester, Vernon and Roger Keller; and her sister, Ruth Fields.



Surviving are her daughter, Barbara (Thomas) Horton of Columbia, Ill.; son, Thomas (Vicki) Bridges of Collinsville, Ill.; brother, Robert Keller of Collinsville, Ill.; and three grandchildren, Breann and Jacob Shaffer and Cain Bridges.



Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or St. John United Church of Christ.



Visitation: Friends may call from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, 2011, at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, Ill.



Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, 2011, at the funeral home with Rev. Tony Minear officiating. At her request she was to be cremated.
