Melba Wilshire, nee Jordan, 87, of Lebanon, Ill., born Saturday, May 14, 1927, in Creal Springs, Ill., died Saturday, January 31, 2015, at Cedar Ridge Health Care, Lebanon, Ill.
Melba was a member of St. Augustine Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Wilshire, whom she married September 20, 1945; her parents, Adolphus and Ruth, nee Gold, Jordan; and a sister, Vera Sauls.
Surviving are a son, Stephen (Sandy) Wilshire of Troy, Ill.; a daughter, Kathleen (David) Gnavi of Prescott, Ariz.; a brother, Bill (Cindy) Craig; two sisters, Barbara (Dave) McCoy of Fairview Heights, Ill., and Judy (Ronnie) Busche of Waterloo, Ill.; two grandchildren, Dawn Swearingen, and Jason Wilshire; eight great-grandchildren, Logan, Jordan, Ryleigh, Hanna, and Jaxon; and two step-great-grand children, Lauren and Alison.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February 5, 2015, at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Collinsville, Ill., with Fr. John Beveridge officiating. Burial will be in Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery, Collinsville, Ill.
