Melvin Paul Gann, 74, of Alton, Ill., born Sunday, Feb. 23, 1941, in Granite City, Ill., passed away Friday, Aug. 7, 2015, at Bethesda Dilworth in St. Louis, Mo.

Mr. Gann was a United States Marine Corps veteran.

He was preceded in death by two daughters, Vicki Gann and Cheryl Lynn Gann; and his parents, William and Geraldine, nee Grammer, Gann.

Surviving are his son, Thomas (Jennifer) Gann of St. Louis, Mo.; a brother, Danny (Cherie) Gann of Reno, Nev.; and a grandchild.
