Michael James Brown, age 59, of Collinsville, Illinois, died Saturday, May 10, 2025 at his residence.

He was born July 11, 1965 in Edwardsville, Illinois to James and Henrietta Brown.

Michael enjoyed golfing and spending as much of his time with his family.

He enjoyed watching old movies and horse racing.

He loved watching sports and was a very avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.

Michael loved his beloved cats.

He is survived by his father; James Brown of Collinsville, IL., sister; Rita Brown of Collinsville, IL., brother; Matt (Heidi) Brown of St. Louis, MO., nephews; Andrew, Jakob and Daniel, nieces; Madeline and Katharine.

Michael is preceded in death by his mother; Henrietta Brown, grandparents; Lucien and Henrietta Gerber and brother; Mark Brown.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Graveside service will be held 10:00am, Friday, May 16, 2025 at Calvary Cemetery, 2910 S. State Rte 157, Edwardsville, Illinois.
