Michael J. Nochta Sr., 58, of Caseyville, Ill., born July 21, 1953, in East St. Louis, Ill., died at 9:25 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 30, 2011, at his residence.



Mr. Nochta was a machinist and worked at Southside Machine Works in St Louis, Mo., and Metro-Link.



Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph G. and Ruth, nee Munro, Nochta Sr.; and sister, Evelyn Klaus; aunt and uncle, Willie "Uncle Buster" and Evelyn Anderson.



Surviving are his son, Michael (Julie) Brown of Collinsville, Ill.; daughter, Heidi Marie Bohn of Mascoutah, Ill.; grandchildren, Hannah Marie, Michael Kenneth III, Walter (Chuck) William IV and Anthony (Tony) David.
