Michael A. Plasters, 60, of Collinsville, Illinois passed away at Belleville Memorial Hospital on August 2nd, 2022.

Michael was born to parents Jerry Plasters and Tina Webber in Harrisburg, Illinois on May 20th, 1962.

He married his loving wife, Lori, at the Belleville Courthouse in 1998.

Michael greatly enjoyed his time as a horse trainer and jockey agent for many years. He loved to go fishing with his son and his friends, and showing off his white Dodge Ram truck. Michael loved his two dogs, Riley and Sadie.  Most importantly, Michael was a family man. He adored his son, Justin.

Michael is survived by his wife, Lori Plasters; his son, Justin M. Plasters; and his mother, Tina Webber; his uncle Don Wall, aunt Sherri (Butch) Koehl; his mother in law Louise Dill, brother in laws Scott and Ron Dill; close friends Victor Santiago and Bo Taylor, and many other loving friends and family members.

A visitation will be held Monday, August 8th, 2022 from 2-6PM at Herr Funeral Home, 501 W Main ST, Collinsville, Illinois.

Memorial donations will be sent to the family.
