Mildred M. Risman, 97, of Collinsville, IL, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at RosewoodCareCenter in Edwardsville, IL

Mildred was born January 6, 1922 in St. Louis, MO to Charles and Ruth King Hornbeck. She married Rudy Risman in April 1963 in Collinsville, IL; he survives are resides in Collinsville, IL.

Also surviving are her children, Linda (Dan) Hlaca of Sappington, MO, Mark (Judy) Woehrle of Peoria, AZ, Ann Marie (Rusty) Risman of Centennial, CO and daughter-in-law, Jan Risman of St. Jacob, IL; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; son, Gary Risman and siblings, Charles Hornbeck and Marjorie Carter.

Mildred worked for 35 years with Collinsville Building and Loan. She also worked for the Collinsville Chamber of Commerce for several years. She was a member of the Collinsville Association of Professional Businesswomen. Mildred was a caring and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

VISITATION: A visitation for Mildred will be held on Monday, February 4, 2019 from 4:00 P.M.- 8:00 P.M. at Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville, IL.

FUNERAL: A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Interment will follow the funeral service, at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.
