Mona F. Pearson

Mona F. Pearson, 86, of Collinsville, Ill., born Jan. 17, 1931, in East St. Louis, Ill., passed away Saturday, April 29, 2017, in St. Louis, Mo.

Mona was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, she was a dedicated homemaker who loved spending time with her family. She was a member of St. John UCC in Collinsville, Ill.

There has never been another wife, mother, grandmother or friend who has been loved more than this beloved woman. Parts of our hearts have been taken away with her, and we will not again be whole until we wrap her in our arms again.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Donald J. Pearson whom she married Dec. 30, 1952, and passed away Dec. 14, 2006; parents, Robert and Sylvia Edmiston; brothers, Ronald Edmiston and Jerry Edmiston.

Surviving are her children, Scott (Stavra) Pearson of Collinsville, Ill., Holly (Jerry) Naunheim of St. Louis, Mo.; her grandchildren, Rosie, Matthew and Erin Naunheim.

Visitation: Friends may visit with the family 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 1, 2017, at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral service for Mona will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 1, 2017, at Herr Funeral Home with Pastor Katie Jo Bielke officiating. Burial will follow the service at St. John Cemetery, Collinsville, Ill.
