Muriel S. Burroughs, nee Lochmann, 88, of Collinsville, Ill., born Aug. 9, 1925, died at 10:22 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013, at Relais Bonne Eau in Edwardsville, Ill.

Mrs. Burroughs was the cashier at Collinsville High School for many years. She was also a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale W. Burroughs; daughter, Debbie Burroughs; parents, Albert and Sylvia, nee Eckart, Lochmann; and her brother, Richard Lochmann.

Surviving are her children, Linda (Ray) Pokorny of Maryville, Ill., and Kent (Peggy) Burroughs of O'Fallon, Mo.; three grandchildren, Angela, Ryan and Jason Burroughs; seven great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Hazel Lochmann of Springfield, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013, at the funeral home with Rev. Fred Kraemer officiating. Private burial will be held at a later date in St. John Cemetery, Collinsville, Ill.
