FAIRMONT CITY, IL- Nadine W. Jinkerson, 89, of Fairmont City, IL, passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St.Louis, MO.

Nadine was born May 11, 1929 in Arkansas to Herbert and Sadie Yancy Thompkins. She married Carl J. Jinkerson on March 21, 1948. He preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Dennis Jinkerson; three brothers, Huston, Haskel and Ronnie; and one sister, Janice Kay.

Nadine is survived by her children, Marsha D. Rook of Fairmont City, IL and Morris L. (Jackie) Jinkerson of Collinsville, IL; grandchildren, Adrian, Kelley, Darci, Julie, Justin, Micah, Nicholas, Greg and Paul; and sisters, Loreta of Michigan and Sue of Chicago.

Nadine was a lifetime member of Church of Christ.

VISITATION: Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2018 from 10:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M. at Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville, IL.

FUNERAL: A funeral for Nadine will be held immediately following the visitation, at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be at St. John Cemetery in Collinsville, IL.
