Nancy K. Kessmann, 70, of Edwardsville, Ill., formerly of Maryville, Ill., born Nov. 19, 1945, in East St. Louis, Ill., passed away Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

Nancy especially loved spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends. She enjoyed going to the gambling boats and playing video poker and the slot machines. She also liked playing Bunco with friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. Kessman; a son, Kevin; parents, Herman and Ruth, nee Rockwell, Kuhlman; and a brother, Kenneth Kuhlman.

Nancy is survived by her son, Dean (Jennifer) Kessman of Washington D.C.; daughter, Kelly (Kamil) Mikhayel of Edwardsville, Ill.; a brother, Bob (Margie) Kuhlman of Clearwater, Fla.; and six grandchildren, Ashley, Kevin, Kayla, Mara, Madelyn and Liam.
