IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Naomi Kathleen
White
February 1, 1931 – October 18, 2024
Naomi Kathleen White, 93, of Edwardsville, Illinois entered into eternal rest at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Illinois, on Friday, October 18th, 2024. Naomi was born February 1st, 1931, in Granite City Illinois, a daughter to the late Everett and Helen Cauble.
She married Kermit E. White on August 29th, 1958, in Granite City, Illinois. He preceded her in death on October 6th, 2011. Also preceding her in death was her brother William "Bill" Cauble.
Naomi worked at Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals as a secretary and retired in 1990 after working in the furniture/buying office at Famous Barr. Naomi and her husband, Kermit loved traveling. Some of their favorite destinations included Spain, Italy, France, Mexico, and Hawaii. Together, they made fond memories ushering at the Fox Theatre in St. Louis, Missouri for many years. Naomi, with Kermit, by her side, took pride in hosting family gatherings, cooking delicious meals and bringing people together. She was famous for her strawberry and peach jelly, which has yet to be remastered. She also enjoyed working in her yard, journaling, reading, and loved all the family pets.
Nothing gave Naomi more joy than her family. Naomi is survived by her son, Jeffrey K. White and his wife Sasithron of Imperial Missouri, her daughter Cynthia A. Klaustermeier and her husband Scott of Edwardsville, Illinois. Her legacy lives on through her grandchildren: Jaclyn Allison, Heather (Jeff) Bacon, Benjamin Klaustermeier, Kara Klaustermeier and Max White, her six great-grandchildren: Payton, Lane, Ava, Carter, Quinn, and Aspen, and several nieces and nephews.
We take peace in knowing Naomi and her greatest love, Kermit are reunited in eternal life.
Memorials may be made to the Open Door Animal Sanctuary in Naomi's honor.
