Nathalie Dorothy (Hauck) Schroeder, age 90 of Glen Carbon, IL, died at 7:45 AM on Sunday, March 31, 2013, at Meridian Village in Glen Carbon. She was born in New Orleans, LA, on Sunday, February 25, 1923, daughter of the late Frank E. and Ruth (Tracey) Hauk. She married Alfred A. Schroeder on January 12, 1946. He preceded her in death.

Nathalie was the former bookkeeper of the Home Nursery in Edwardsville and was President of the Assisted Living Resident Council at Meridian Village in Glen Carbon. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran.

She is survived by a daughter, Nathalie Born, of Edwardsville; a son, Frank A. Schroeder, of Hammond, LA; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Frank Schroeder and Alfred Schroeder, Jr.; a sister, Helen Kattengell; and a brother, Louis Hauck.

Sunset Hill Funeral Home in Glen Carbon is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 5, 2013, at Sunset Hill Funeral Home, Glen Carbon, followed by funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor John Shank officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon.
