Nelma M. Edson, 85 of Collinsville, IL passed away October 21, 2022, at her residence with her family by her side.

Nelma was born to Benjamin F. & Mary Alice Elms on May 27, 1937 in Percy, IL.

She married Kenneth Ray Edson on September 14, 1956.  She worked for Sears for 38 years and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is preceded death by her husband Kenneth, parents Benjamin and Mary Elms, sister Shirley Jean Alvey, son-in-laws, Fred. R Renollet and Kirk Crockett and nephew Ronald W. Alvey Jr.

Surviving is her only child, daughter Rhonda Crockett, grandchildren; Kara Renollet Gray, Kasey Crockett and Kourtney (Andre) Walton, great grandchildren, MaKennah, Kassidy, Lyric, Kingston, Katelyn, Kierstyn, Kori and her brother, Benjamin Elms, and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Nelma's life (Open House) will be held at her daughter's house located at 912 Lillian St. Collinsville, IL from 2:00 p.m., to 5:00 p.m., on Sunday October 30, 2022.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to her daughter Rhonda Crockett or the ALS Foundation of St. Louis.
