Nick Bogovich, 92, of Edwardsville, Ill., born Sept. 13, 1923, in Buckner, Ill., passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at Eden Village Nursing Center in Glen Carbon, Ill.

Nick was a World War II Air Force veteran and retired as a special education teacher in Madison, Ill. He enjoyed listening and singing along to Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Filamina "Minnie", nee Hrebar, Bogovich; two brothers; and two sisters.

Surviving are his son, Nicholas (Michele) of Antioch, Calif.; and nieces and nephews Alan, Dale and Laura.

Memorials may be made at the funeral home to the American Heart Association .

Visitation: A gathering of friends and relatives will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2016, at the Sunset Hill Funeral Home, 50 Fountain Dr., Glen Carbon, Ill.
